Actorsite Educational Workshops are for the dedicated actor who wished to succeed in Television, Film and other areas of a Hollywood Career.

Our workshops are reserved for those who have auditioned  to show that they have a high level of skill and understanding of the cold reading process. Because of that high level, they have been accepted into our advanced group.

  2. The Business of Acting
  3. Casting Office Etiquette
  4. Demystifying the Audition Process
  5. How casting procedures differ between Features, Episodic Television, Pilots and the like.
  6. Performance Adjustments and Feedback
  7. General Industry Trends
  8. Review of Headshots and Resumes
  9. Additional personal expertise from that guests unique perspective.

We have signed a special agreement with the State of California in order to protect YOU, our clients. The State has established guidelines under which Casting Directors may participate in your education without violating state laws regarding hiring issues. The Actorsite is one of only 8 companies who have signed this unique agreement. To read the State Guidelines, click HERE.

We are proud of the fact that Actorsite workshops have ALWAYS been educational events. Casting Directors offer a fine honing of acting and auditioning skills that only they have the insight to provide. Because of this we helped write State Guidelines, along with input from SAG, AFTRA, the Casting Society of America, the Los Angeles City Attorney's office and dozens of actors at all levels.

The Labor Commissioner took input from all of these sources and came up with a state-approved curriculum for Casting Director workshops. We have always embraced a similar curriculum and we have always worked hard to make sure that the actors who attend our workshops get the most benefit out of these educational workshops. Because of our diligence, our workshop participants are some of the busiest in Hollywood, having gained the education to attain a distinctive edge in this competitive arena.

We applaud the successes of our participants. When attending an Actorsite workshop: This is not a job interview or audition. The presence of a casting director is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. The vast majority of Workshop participants do not receive jobs as a result of meeting Casting Directors at these workshops. The intent of the class is solely educational.
