This morning, my 7 year old daughter discovered SHARK BOY AND LAVA GIRL,
the Robert Rodriguez film starring a couple of Actorsiters.
They were young at the time. And it was super to be reminded what they were like when studying at the Actorsite.
So a big Actorsite Shout Out to CAYDEN and TAYLOR! Good job guys!
And, SUNDAY, my wife and I watched the series finale for RESURRECTION, starring Actorsiter Landon Gimenez…exciting! Will there be another season so we know what happens?I hope so!
PLUS, we watched the exiting show MAN OF STEEL, the young
Superman story which featured Actorsiter Jadin Gould as a young LANA LANG. She can also be seen starring on GREY’S ANATOMY this season as IVY MCNEIL. EXCELENTE!
Acting tip: Don’t EVER show up late for your booking. Get
there an hour early if you have to, and go to the nearest
coffee shop to chill until your call time.
I was just talking to one of the producers of a major
show and I said, “are there any tips you can give?”.
“I can’t believe the actors who show up late”, he stated,
“That means we will never have you back on this show or
any of our other shows.”
He seemed to think this was a teenage thing, but parents
need to let their teenagers know that a lackadaisical approach
to a guest role on TV will kill your career!
Are you raising an “entitlement child”? If so, remember that
it will kill your child’s career.
An acting career is EARNED.
Showing up late means you are being disrespectful. Producers will ALWAYS remember it when you show up late. It will kill a career.
